This is the final part of the decree issued by the council of Paros referring to the tribute given in acknowledgement to three members of the Pharos deputation and sending six Parians looking for advice from the Delphic Oracle in order to protect Pharos from current trouble.

Instead of a direct answer to the posed question about the deities to who sacrifice for that purpose should be offered, the oracle recommended sending the Parian Praxiepes to the West, probably to the faraway Pharos who should then become the new founder of the Pharos Adriatic colony.
