Statuette of Harpocrates
God-boy with a boy's plait on the side of the head is represented stepping forward and positioned on a square pedestal. He is naked and his body is shaped with fine lines. He is holding the finger of his right hand on his mouth. He is represented without any headgear but the greenish patina leaves the impression that he has hair on his head. His eyes are made with incrustations of gold. The analysis of bronze revealed a percentage of gold. Late Period (8th to 4th century B.C.).
