Hoard from Tenja

A multitude of sickles, axes, different equipment for casting or working out bronze objects, jewellery, spears, swords and daggers from the hoard in Tenja, originating from the 12th century B.C. at some time most probably belonged to a travelling merchant.

The variety of its contents offers us the possibility of having an insight into the different activities of the people from the Late Bronte Age: engagement in various crafts, trade, agriculturally-directed economy but also the insight into the militant characteristic of a significant part of the population of this era.
