House
House
The construction of the house was made from poles and the walls from interlaced twigs. This wickerwork structure was then coated with loam and then smoothed. The floor was made of beaten loam and the roof was covered with reed. Within the house there was a circular fireplace.
Except for the bones of wild and tame animals, round the fireplace an abundance of fragments was found, originating from various dishes for preparing and serving food. In each house the dominating object was the loom that was used for weaving various fabrics that were later used for manufacturing clothes and objects of everyday use.
